Foods For Anemia

The Word Anemia means lack of blood as hemoglobin deficiency in blood. Anemia is a clinical condition in which the total number of red blood cells or the quantity of hemoglobin in blood declines than the normal level so the oxygen binding ability of hemoglobin is decreased.

Hemoglobin present inside the red blood cells normally carries oxygen from lungs to the tissues and anemia causes hypoxia in organs.

Most of the people think that anemia is caused by iron deficiency in the bloodstream but in reality anemia is deficiency in the hemoglobin of the red blood cells diminishing the ability of the blood to transport oxygen to our cells and to removing carbon dioxide.

The deficiency of blood is caused due to the iron deficiency, which is an essential component of the protein complex, hemoglobin, present in the blood.

In the persons suffering with anemia, the count of hemoglobin in the blood goes down. Hemoglobin is composed of heme, which is an iron complex, and a protein named globin.

When there is a lacking of iron in the diet, then heme will not be formed and so also hemoglobin. The main function of hemoglobin is to carry oxygen to different parts of the body. Hence in absence of hemoglobin, the blood will not be able to provide oxygen to all parts of the body, which leads in weakness.

Anemia can be cured at home naturally at home by intaking the proper diet.
