Instead of drinking large glassess of liquids at once during meals, sip slowly in between meals. Intake lots of fluids or liquids.

Chewing Gum

Chewing gum helps relieve from heartburn. It stimulates saliva, which contains bicarbonate. When the saliva and bicarbonate are swallowed, they neutralizes the acid that has backed up or refluxed into the esophagus.

Garlic

Include 2 garlic cloves in your diet to relieve the intensity of heartburn symptoms. Some times garlic can worsen heartburn. So, check before you take.

Antacids

You can take antacids if your Doctors recommends. You can take antacids, H2 blockers or proton pump inhibitors to relieve hearburn.

Apple Cider Vinegar

Apple cider vinegar is a natural remedy for heartburn. Mix 2-3 teaspoons in a glass of water and drink. It helps to balance the acid production in the stomach or buffer the acid activity.

Baking Soda

Baking soda is also a natural remedy for heartburn during pregnancy. To neutralize stomach acid – mix one tablespoon of baking soda in ½ cup of water and drink.

Herbal Tea

Herbal teas like ginger tea, camomile tea and dandelion tea helps to relieve heartburn. But be careful before you drink, as ginger tea slow down clotting if you are bleeding, dandelion tea can interfere with medications of diabetics and camomile can cause difficulty to sleep in people with insomnia.

Yogurt

If you are suffering with heartburn during pregnancy then eat yogurt to relieve the symptoms.

Milk

If you are experiencing heartburn and to get relief from the heartburn during pregnancy you can drink a glass of milk. You can also add 1 table spoon of Honey to a glass of warm milk and consume.
